This was our second year going to Sun Lakes. We stayed at the Resort at the end of the lake.
John, Chris, Karen, Adam, Eric, Emmett, Gloria, Katie, Dave, Ed, Pat, and three dogs were there this year.
We all had a great time playing with Emmett. Here he is with Karen standing on the boat and fishing dock.
Katie caught her first fish this year, she
was very proud of her bag of fish.
Emmett had a great time drinking 3/4 ths of Uncle Adams Smoothie !!

Here we are at our camping spot. It was nice to be next to the grassy area this year.It was an interesting experience for everybody. We had some fun in the sun......when it was out. There was a bit of rain on Friday night and quite a bit of wind on Saturday night. I slept right through it all but SOME of the group complained of lack of sleep. They blamed the wind for keeping them up. Next year we may try somewhere else.

Um. Yes. SOME people had trouble sleeping. Maybe it was because rain blew in the tent and spattered our faces all night. Or, tents flipped over or temporarily collapsed under the weight of wind, waking up sleeping toddlers, who shreiked in terror every 10 minutes when the world collapsed around them. Overall, a pretty fun weekend, though, and we'd do it again.
